Privacy Policy

The short version
This is a personal portfolio website. I don't sell anything here, I don't run ads, and I don't collect personal data beyond basic analytics. If you decline cookies, nothing changes about your experience — I just won't know you visited.
What gets collected
When you accept cookies, this site loads Google Analytics (GA4) to collect anonymous usage data: pages visited, time on page, scroll depth, button clicks, and general device/browser info. Google Analytics uses two cookies:
_ga — distinguishes unique visitors. Expires after 2 years._ga_* — tracks session state. Expires after 24 hours.
IP anonymization is enabled, so your full IP address is never stored by Google Analytics.
Why
Curiosity, mostly. I like knowing which sections people actually read, whether anyone makes it to the bottom, and which projects get the most clicks. It helps me improve the site. That's it.
If you decline
No cookies are set, no analytics scripts are loaded, and no data is sent to Google. The site works exactly the same way.
Your rights
Under GDPR, you have the right to:
- Change your mind — click "Cookie settings" in the footer to update your preference at any time.
- Access or delete your data — since GA data is anonymous and aggregated, there's nothing personally identifiable to retrieve. But if you have questions, email me.
- Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority if you believe your data rights have been violated.
Third-party services
Beyond Google Analytics (only when you consent), this site connects to:
- GitHub API — to fetch contribution stats. No cookies, no personal data.
- Spotify API — to show what I'm listening to. No cookies, server-side only.
- Cal.com — the booking link opens an external page. Their own privacy policy applies.
